Daniel Langlois

Daniel Langlois is founder of Daniel Langlois Foundation and of Softimage company. Associated with National Film Board of Canada.
He also participated in:
- Transitions, first stereoscopic 3-D computer animation in IMAX format (presented at Expo 86)
- Tony de Peltrie (1985) - the first animated human character to express emotion through facial expressions and body movements, which touched the feelings of the audience
Softimage software [1] was used to create 3-D effects in such films as Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, The Matrix, Titanic, Men in Black, Twister, Jurassic Park, The Mask and The City of Lost Children.
